School Library
Our school library is a little "Ukrainian book house" in New York: a large collection of Ukrainian books for children and teenagers, as well as titles for adult readers. Here you can find fairy tales and adventure stories, classic and contemporary Ukrainian literature, books on history and culture, poetry and educational titles — so that the Ukrainian language lives not only in the classroom, but at home as well.
We continuously add new books to the library so that students have access to current, age-appropriate reading that matches their interests — from early readers to more substantial texts for older grades.
Throughout the school year, students and parents may take books home: we sincerely encourage families to use the library regularly. Reading in Ukrainian is one of the most effective ways to strengthen vocabulary, literacy and language confidence, especially for bilingual children.
Stop by the library on a school day, choose a book together with your child — and let a Ukrainian book become part of your family's Saturday.
