Holy Communion
First Holy Communion is one of the most important events in the spiritual life of a child and family. In our school community, we approach this event with special care: we help children prepare meaningfully, calmly and with the understanding that this is not simply a "ceremony," but a sincere encounter with faith, tradition and personal responsibility.
Preparation throughout the school year
Preparation for First Holy Communion typically takes place throughout the school year within the Religion/Christian studies subject and additional preparatory meetings (as needed).
Students:

learn the foundations of the Christian faith and prayer;

are introduced to the Liturgy and the meaning of the Holy Sacraments;

prepare for first confession and Communion in an age-appropriate way.
We ensure that instruction is pedagogically mindful: no rote memorization, with explanations, practical examples and the freedom to ask questions.
A shared mission: school, family and parish
First Communion is always a collaborative effort. The school supports the academic component, the family — the daily spiritual atmosphere at home, and the parish — liturgical life and the direct celebration of the Sacraments. We inform parents in advance about organizational details so that preparation can proceed without rush.
